You can choose from different ways to check in for your flight with Turkish Airlines. You have the option to check in online using the airline’s website or mobile app. You have two options for checking in at the airport: using a self-service kiosk or going to the airport counter. Self-Service Kiosk Check-in Time:

You can check in for your flight using the airport’s self-service kiosk. You can do this between 12 hours and 60 minutes before your domestic flight, or 75 minutes before your international flight.

Airport Counter Check-In Time:

You can check in for domestic flights (within Turkey) at the airport counter between 2 hours and 45 minutes before departure. For international flights, you can check in 60 minutes before departure (2 hours before departure for flights to Caracas).

Online Check-In

You can check in for your Turkish Airlines flight online starting 24 hours before your departure time. The online check-in closes 90 minutes before your flight takes off.

• • Please provide the requested information:
    • • Your 13-digit ticket number or six-character reservation code (PNR).

• • Most of the time, you can download your boarding pass.

Mobile App Check-In

You can use your mobile app to check in at certain airports. This can be done between 24 hours and 90 minutes before your flight departs. Use the app to check in and download your electronic boarding pass to your smartphone. On the day of travel, go directly to the baggage desk.

If you don’t have any bags to check in and don’t need to verify your documents at the check-in counter, you can go straight to the immigration counter.

Self-Service Kiosk Check-In

You can use Turkish Airlines self-service kiosks at some airports to check in for your flight. You can do this between 12 hours and 1 hour before your domestic flight, or up to 75 minutes before your international flight.

Follow these Steps for kiosk Check-In:

• • Insert your debit card or Miles & Smiles card into the card reader.

• • Please input any of the following information:
    • • E-Ticket Number
    • • Reservation Code

• • Follow the Onscreen Prompts
    • • Select Seat
    • • Check-In

Once you choose your seat, you’ll get a printed boarding pass automatically. Once you have your boarding pass:

• • If you don’t have any luggage to check-in, simply head straight to the boarding gate.

• • If you need to check in your baggage, go to the check-in desk first. After that, head to the boarding gate.

• • Make sure to arrive at the boarding gate at least 20 minutes before your flight takes off. Keep in mind that at certain airports, it may take you more time to get to the boarding gate.

Passengers cannot use self-service kiosks for check-in:

Some passengers cannot use the self-service kiosk to check-in and will have to go to the airport desk to check-in.

• • Passengers whose passports or credentials are not machine-readable are denied boarding.

• • Waitlisted travellers

• • Passengers without verified reservations

• • Unaccompanied adolescents

• • Those with an additional seat reservation, such as for a musical instrument

• • Passengers traveling with an animal companion

• • Passengers in need of special assistance, such as medical assistance or meet-and-assist service.

Remember:

• • On a single registration code (PNR), you can check in up to eight passengers at once.

• • Be at the boarding gate at least twenty minutes prior to departure.

Turkish Airlines Airport Counter Check-In

For domestic flights in Turkey, passengers can check in at the airport counter between 2 hours and 60 minutes before departure. For international flights, check-in is available up to 75 minutes before departure. However, at Caracas airport, the counters close 120 minutes before departure.

It’s recommended to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight’s departure, even if you’ve already checked in online.
